Changes to Custom Processes for Orders to Overseas Addresses

Significant changes to the way parcels sent to the EU from Great Britain were implemented on the 1st July 2026.  As a result the Society will now be sending all overseas orders as "Custom's and Duties to be paid by Recipient".  Please be aware of this when placing your order. 

Our P&P prices are set at a rate that covers the cost of posting parcels within the UK and as such are well below the costs of posting parcels overseas.  Our prices include UK VAT and this will be used to offset the resultant postage shortage.  This is the reason for the minimum order value of £60 for overseas orders (except USA)

We have resumed shipping to the US, but with some changes to how we apply P&P due to the current administrations recent tariff changes on imports from the UK.  These are as follows:

UK VAT will be paid on checkout, but this is refundable.  In addition to the postage charge, our UK postage partner will then apply the 10% US customs fee and a £0.50 customs admin fee to the postage label charge so that it reaches you without any further customs delays when it arrives in the USA.  The additional customs fee & postage fee will need to be added to your order before checking out using the sundry payment facility.
