Last Posting Dates for UK Xmas Delivery

To get your orders before Christmas, last posting day for UK orders £75 or less (i.e. Tracked 48 service) will be Friday 19th December. For UK orders > £75, last posting day will be Tuesday 23rd. Please note that orders will need to be raised a couple of days before those dates to allow for the usual Society gatekeeping checks on all orders.

SHOP CLOSURE

Please note that the shop will be closed from 22:00 on the 27th December 2025 to allow the annual stock-take to be carried out.  Any order received after that date will not be processed until the New Year.  This means that the 20% sale will also end at 22:00 on the 27th Dec '25

The shop will re-open on the 1st January with the new prices that were published along with Journal 6/25.  It will also see the start of the Snowplough promotion (see Journal 6/25 pg 7 for details).

Changes to Shop P&P & Overseas Orders (Excluding USA)

As a result of price changes on the 6^th October 2025 by the Royal Mail, particularly the levels of compensation for the tracked services we use, an urgent review of our P&P charges has been carried out, and the following is now in place.

£2 for orders of low value small items (up to 6 transfers or up to 5 layout badges or 2 fridge magnets or up to 2 booklets) - £5 for orders up to £75 -  £12 for orders between £76 and £250 (next level of adequate compensation means Special Delivery applies) -  £18 for orders over £251

Due to increasing costs of shipping to Europe and Australia/New Zealand, and the financial loss we incur when shipping low value orders, we have also introduced a minimum order value of £60 so that we can adequately cover the cost of shipping to our farther flung members.

These changes were implemented on the 10^th October 2025

Overseas Orders - USA *Orders Resumed*
 

We are now able to resume shipping to the US, but with some changes to how we apply P&P due to the current administrations recent tariff changes on imports from the UK.  These are as follows:

UK VAT will be paid on checkout, but this is refundable.  In addition to the postage charge, our UK postage partner will then apply the 10% US customs fee and a £0.50 customs admin fee to the postage label charge so that it reaches you without any further customs delays when it arrives in the USA.  The additional customs fee & postage fee will need to be added to your order before checking out using the sundry payment facility.
