Key benefits of membership of the NGS are our full colour 'N Gauge Journal' which is posted or emailed to you six times a year, plus the Members' Handbook.

Postal Membership:- you receive a new member’s pack comprising hard copies of the Handbook and of the current issue of the Journal, and the one-off Joining Fee contributes towards the related costs. During your membership period, further issues of the Journal are sent at two monthly intervals and associated costs are defrayed by the per annum Postage Contribution.  See table of charges below.

Sometimes journals posted to overseas members are delayed or lost in the postal system. If a member tells us that their copy has not arrived the Society will supply an electronic version as a replacement. If the member subsequently requests a replacement hard-copy journal the Society will, ask for an upfront payment to cover postage. 

Online Membership:- The Handbook and Journal copy comprising your new member’s pack are supplied in digital format – with download links emailed to you. Similarly for the journals a link and password for each journal is emailed to you.
